This is whole weekend started. I had Marine's to my left and Tau to my right

Well, I made it home from Welland Ontario, where Miniwargaming is located. Had a blast and I'll post pics later...

Scorpion Grav Tank Type I

I've taken a break from the Phantom Titan, and been working on my Scorpion Grav Tank. I bought this tank when Forgeworld first released it. How many years was that?...





Been trying to get my Eldar force painted for Miniwargaming.com 100,000 point Apocalypse game.


Just happy I'm finally finished it...




I've been playing with this tank for many years, and have yet to lose it in a battle...







I still plan to buy the new version as well... maybe two.

Phantom Titan of the Saim Hann pt.7

Just a small update. The left arm is done.

I went with the same "honeycomb" effect I did on the shoulder, I like it... but in hindsight I may have made more work for myself.

So close to finishing this guy... but I think I'll work on my scorpion. Just to take a bit of a break.

Seeing as I can now take it in spearhead games these days.

Just a little update, the left shoulder pad is done. I went for something a little different, I may do a similar effect on the weapons...

You may notice something as well... in regards to my last titan update.

1K Battle Report (The Beginning)

"It is a long journey back to the gateway', N' eecheth said to the rest of the escort. The planet had become infested with all manner of monkeigh.

"So many threads to unravel... the stones have become cloudy', The old seer said to his junior seer E' veth.

"I warned the Grand Chief of coming to this world... many lives could be lost here, too many!' as N'eecheth took point.

The Farseer's escort was speeding through Tau battle lines. Crushing these aliens would be unfortunate, like stepping on a beautiful flower...

Annihilation/ Pitched Battle:

Deployment: consisted of the eldar deploying second and on the table. The eldar needed to start on the table with powers working as soon as possible.

Tau grabbed as much high ground as possible, and deployed with their firepower centrally.

Tau standing ready to face the might of the Saim-Hann Eldar.

Stealth suits manage to deploy close to the Younger Farseer. Ready to spring their ambush...

The Battle Begins...

After the Eldar failed in seizing the initiative, the Tau attacked in earnest. The Stealth team first to draw blood and sending two of the Jetbikes to the ground. Railguns and Plasma shots send an other eldar biker to his end.

The enraged Wildriders return fire, killing many Tau for their greater good. The left flank of the Tau is almost crippled, as well as completely destroying the stealth team. Eldar have the upper hand for now...

Farseer N'eecheth vying for position.

Farseer E'veth avenging the young souls lost to these misguided aliens.

The Broadside and Firewarriors try and avenge the Stealth Team, but the Eldar have some sort of ability to deflect enormous amounts of firepower.

The Hammerhead tries to cover the Tau left flack, the Eldar are trying to out flank.

Farseer E'veth plans to combine firepower with his elder brother. "We have to break free of this, before too many souls are lost!'.

1K Battle Report (End Game)

N'eecheth could not afford to be stalled. "The council of our great house meets in three cycles!... We have to be there!... fate will be decided'.

"Attack their center, these children will not stand in our way!'.

E'veth gathered the rest of his guard to join his brother's advance. "These aliens will pay one thousand fold for every drop of eldar blood they've spilt today!'.

"Victory to the Saim Hann!' was heard over the battlefield, now a Tau gravesite.

The Tau Communication net was filled with a static interference only seen when dealing with creatures of the empyrean.

The Eldar regroup in the center of the table. The Tau have been using their submunition rounds to no avail.

++" These eldar are protected by some sort of energy, it's as though none of our shots can penetrate their armor"++

The Tau left flank is about to be attacked by the whole warhost.

The Firewarriors stand impotent to help their brothers, out of range and too high up to move to better ground.

Firewarriors stand ready. They are "bonded" and ready to give their lives to the greater good.

The Hammerhead and remainder of the Firewarriors are cut down. The Tau left flank has fallen.

"We can escape now, they are defeated!'

"Their Commander must not be able to signal the rest of their forces!'

"Find him!' N'eecheth commanded as he searched for the rune that would end the Tau commander's life.

The Tau Commander continues his attack, not realizing he has now become the target.

E'veth wants the honor of killing this alien, as a Seer he rarely gets the opportunity to spill the blood of is enemies in honorable combat.

The Shas'o is broken and is being routed from the battlefield.

The battle ends on turn Six.

Finished the left wing... almost there...

Starting to feel optimistic again....

For those of you that have been following this work, should the model have a "loin cloth" like the wraithlord and other wraiths?

I'm thinking he should... but I would like your opinions. Also should the model have the gun banners like the ol' epic models did...
